Violet I. Boyer, 81, of Rock Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 at home.
Born on January 6, 1944 in Host, she was a daughter of the late John and Kathryn Wengert Donton.
She was a 1961 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.
Violet was a seamstress at Glory Knitting Mills in Robesonia and H. L. Miller in Schuylkill Haven. She also worked as a stocker at Walmart and most recently was a therapy assistant at the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.
She enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, and baking. She loved spending time with her family especially at family reunions and sleepovers with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a son, James Boyer; two brothers, James Donton and Robert Donton; two sisters, Elsie Schneck and Mary Gaston.
Surviving are a daughter, Angie and husband Bryan Dinger of Pine Grove; a son, David Boyer of Wernersville; five grandchildren, Kaleen Zerbe, Shauna Wolff, Erica Roland, Brennen Dinger, and Willow Boyer; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Blankenhorn of Schuylkill Haven, Sherry Wolff of Tremont; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family.
The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements.
