Thomas H. Pillsbury

Thomas H. Pillsbury, 76, of Old Forge Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 in Geisinger St. Luke's in Orwigsburg. 

Born on May 26, 1947 in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Charles A. Sr. and Alice H. Berger Pillsbury. 

Thomas was a 1965 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School. 

He enlisted in the Marine Corp and served during the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/ 2* and the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ device 

Thomas had been a truck driver and worked for Service Truck Lines in Orwigsburg 

Preceding him in death were his one true love Gail Rager Pillsbury; and a brother Charles A. Pillsbury, Jr. 

Surviving are a son Boe and wife Sarah Pillsbury; two daughters, Hope and husband Daniel Orwig, Shannon Yoder and companion Jacob Camarena, all of Pine Grove; seven grandchildren, Taylor Orwig, Brooke Orwig, Gavin Pillsbury, Connor Pillsbury, Alexander Pillsbury, Dylan Aungst and L.J. Rumpf; a great grandchild Isabella; his companion Boy; three step children, Thomas, Chastity, and Brandy Schneck;  a brother James Pillsbury of Pine Grove; two nephews, Shane Pillsbury and Ty Pillsbury. 

Graveside Services and interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a procession leaving the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove on Monday, July 17, 2023, promptly at 9:15 A.M. Anyone wishing to follow in the procession is asked to arrive at the Funeral Home by 9:00 A.M. on Monday.
