Shirley I. Ney, 81, of Pine Grove,  passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018  in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born on January 3, 1937 in Pottsville,  she was a daughter of the late John and Grace Barr Leffler.
She was a 1954 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a member of Echo Valley Grace Brethren Church, Tremont.
Shirley had worked as a seamstress for Pine Valley.
Preceding her in death was her husband Donald Ney, a son-in-law David Scales.
Surviving are a son Donald and wife Sherri Ney of Pine Grove;  daughter, Cindy Ney Scales of Steelton;  4 grandchildren, Donald Jr. and wife Gwen Ney,  Joel Ney,  Joshua Ney,  Terajae Scales; great granddaughter Evelyn Ney;  a brother, Robert Leffler of Tremont.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral  Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Rod Finster and Donald Ney officiating.  There will be a viewing on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at the Funeral  Home. Interment will follow in the St. Paul's Reformed Cemetery, Ravine. 
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Echo Valley Grace Brethren Church, 46 Tremont Rd., Tremont, Pa. 17981 in her memory.
