Shannon R. Sanders, 50, of Allegheny Ave., Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

Born on August 4, 1975 in Lebanon, he was the son of Mary Ann and husband Howard Schauer of Lebanon and Leslie and wife Beth Sanders of Myerstown.

He was a 1993 graduate of ELCO High School and 1995 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.

Shannon was an Executive Chef, working at numerous restaurants.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Shannon was always willing to help people and one of the ways he could show this was being an organ donor. His family has been notified that he has helped multiple people already who had been on transplant lists.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Brandon Sanders and companion Ashley of Lebanon; three nieces, Brianna, Skylah and Hannah; six great nieces and nephews, Gianna, Aria, Layla, Luca, Zaylen and Zion; and his girlfriend Christine.

Per Shannon's request, there will be no services.

The family would like to thank all those who have helped Shannon, especially the staff at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon for their care.

The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements.
