Russel G. Heiser, 90, of  Pine Grove,  passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Providence Place, Pottsville.
Born on August 2, 1929 in Reading,  he was a son of the late Russel H. and Lucy Ann Updegrave Heiser.
He was a CPL in the U.S. Army, serving in Germany during the Korean Conflict.
Russel was a Mechanic.
He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Friedensburg.
Preceding him in death was a son, Mark Heiser.
Surviving are his wife of  66 years, Mildred Steudtner Heiser; two daughters, Susan Heist of Las Vegas, NV, Elizabeth and husband Noel Bennett of Thornton, CO; a grandson, Chase Bennett of Denver, CO; a sister, Lois Pierce of Robesonia.
All Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church,  c/o Walter Stump, 1090 Deturksville Rd., Pine Grove PA 17963, in his memory.
