Roy E. Nagle, 77, of Dad Burnhams Rd., Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital Lebanon, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born on April 23, 1948 in Schuylkill Haven, he was a son of the late George L.Bud and Mabel Lehman Nagle.
He was a 1966 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and attained the rank of Sergeant. He served in the Mekong River Delta Region of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Roy worked for PPL for 43 years.
He was a member of Manbeck's Zion EC Church, Schuylkill Haven.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Guy and George Nagle.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Cathy Bossler Nagle; three children, Dale R. Nagle of Hamilton, OH, Tara and husband Todd Miller of Schuylkill Haven, Chad J. and wife Danielle Nagle of Wormleysburg; two grandchildren, Jayde Nagle and husband Patrick Lally, Joshua Schnoke; two great grandchildren, Charlee and Maeve Lally.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Manbeck's Church, 110 Wild Cherry Rd., Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Kyle Roth officiating. There will be a visitation on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Church. Interment will follow in Manbeck's Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
