Rodney W. Herring, 61, of Sweet Arrow Lake Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at home.

Born on October 25, 1964 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late William C. Sr. and Dorothy I. Neidlinger Herring.

He received a diploma from Vale Technical Institute, Blairsville

Rodney was a Mechanic.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Joel K. Herring.

Surviving are three children, Ryan Herring of Pine Grove, Ashley Herring of Freeland, Amanda and husband Devan Stortz of Pine Grove; a grandson, John Stortz; four brothers, William C. Herring, Jr., Jeffrey Herring, both of Schuylkill Haven, Michael Herring of Minnesota; nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral  Home, Inc., Pine Grove. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 to help with expenses.
