Olive M. Kreis, 93, of Tremont, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.

Born on September 2, 1928 in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Edith Herring Harris.

She was a graduate of Pine Grove High School.

Olive worked at Kreis Market in Tremont and then had been a baker at the Pine Grove Truck Stop.

She was a member of St. Peter's UCC in Tremont where she was in the choir, a baker and treasurer for several years. She was also an avid bowler at Pine Lanes, Pine Grove Women's Bowling Association Secretary for many seasons, and member of the Tremont Senior Citizens and participated in many trips.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Russell Brommer, second husband, Ralph Kreis; a granddaughter, Faith Brommer; two brothers, Howard Harris and Daniel Krammes; and two sisters, Gladys Wertley and Jennie Grube.

Surviving are two daughters, Jessie Brommer and husband Tom Kreis of Tremont, Kristina Kreis and husband James Landvater Jr. of Hershey; a son Franklin Brommer and companion Lori Kimmel of Donaldson; 9 grandchildren, Amy Kreis Silva and husband Brian of Medford, MA, Stephen Kreis and fiance' Hope Powanda of Schuylkill Haven, Jason and wife Darcy Brommer of Pine Grove, Daniel Brommer of Millersburg, Dakotah Adams and fiance' Michael Shepard of Tremont, Caleb Brommer of Donaldson, Hannah Landvater of Harrisburg, Rebecca Landvater of Hershey; 5 great grandchildren, Quinn, Addison, Jensen, Oliva, and Mason; two brothers, Curtis Krammes and Guy Krammes; two sisters, Doris Harig and Lorna Kleman.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Beth Rogers officiating. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 9:00 A.M.unitl 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Peter's UCC Memorial Fund, 57 Spring St., Tremont, PA 17981 in her memory.
