Mechelle (Blickley) Becker

Mechelle Becker

Mechelle Becker, 63, of Sweet Arrow Lake Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 in Geisinger St. Lukes Hospital, Orwigsburg. 

Born on March 1, 1962 in Chester, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen Zanini Blickley. 

Mechelle was a sewing machine operator at the former Canoe Mfg., worked at Berger's Market and a physician's office and was a Bartender. She also worked at the Tremont Health & Rehab where she became a Certified Nurses Aid, and worked as a Nurses Aid in Home Health Care.

She enjoyed painting ceramics and drawing and she played the drums and guitar in the Kintzel Brothers band. She had played and coached softball and loved the ocean. 

Preceding her in death were three brothers, David, Brian and John "Sonny" Blickley; and a half brother, Jack Zanini. 

Surviving are her husband, Scott Becker, with whom they were together for 39 years with 22 years married; a son, Keven and wife Nicole Kerschner of Lake Wynonah; two step children, Robert and wife Jennie Becker, Melanie and husband Chris Koehler; three grandchildren, Katie, Karissa and Dawson Kerschner; two step grandchildren, Emily and Paige Koehler; two sisters, Bonita and husband Keith Wolfgang, Dolores Parker-Maik; two brothers Larry and wife Betty Blickley, Charles Parker; a half sister, Ida Marie Zanini; a step brother, Larry Blickley; a step sister, Barbara Ann; nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lake Wynonah outdoor pavilion at the Lodge, 491 Wynonah Dr., Auburn, PA 17922.  Interment will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Rd., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory.
