Lois A "Choo Chee" Murphy, 80, of N. Crescent St., Tremont, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at home.

Born on September 13, 1945 in Tremont, she was a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Vertie Shomper Woll.

She was a1963 graduate of Tremont  High School. 

Lois was a Machine Operator at the former Tyco in Lickdale.

She was a member of Most Blessed Trinity Parish, Tremont.

Preceding her in death were two daughters, Kelly Murphy and Shannon Bertasavage; two sisters, Vertie Harner and Elsie Woll; and two brothers, John "Jack" and Nelson Woll.

Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Timothy Murphy; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wertz, Erica Bertasavage and Noah Bertasavage; 3 great grandchildren, Remington Donmoyer, Wesson Wertz and Owen Gebhard; a sister, Doris Miller of Tremont.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory to help with expenses.
