Kevin G. Darcas
May 23, 1958 – July 2, 2026
Kevin G. Darcas, 68, of Lancaster Avenue, Bethel, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
Born in Lebanon on May 23, 1958, Kevin was raised by his mother Jean (Hunsicker) Ziegler and stepfather Roy Ziegler, along with his father Harold Darcas and stepmother Margaret (Allwein) Darcas.
Kevin spent many years as a dedicated truck driver, working for several companies throughout his career before retiring from Conestoga Foundry. He was known for his strong work ethic and took great pride in every job he did. That same pride extended to his home and, most importantly, to his family.
A man of unwavering integrity, Kevin lived by a strong moral compass. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need and never hesitated to put others before himself. His kindness, dependability, and quiet strength earned the respect of everyone who knew him.
Kevin was a proud member of the Strausstown Rod and Gun Club, Rehrersburg Fire Company, and Mt. Aetna Fire Company. He had a lifelong love of riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and embraced the sense of freedom and adventure it brought. One of his favorite experiences was riding to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, SD; a trip that reflected his adventurous spirit and love of the open road.
Above all, Kevin treasured time with his family. His love, guidance, and example of hard work, honesty, and generosity will continue to live on in those who knew and loved him.
Kevin will be deeply missed by his companion, Evelyn Good; his three children, Jay Darcas of Birdsboro, Amy (Daniel) Giffin of Lititz, and Lisa (Michael) Rollo of Springfield, VA; his six grandchildren, Darnell Thierwechter, Alexander Giffin, Aaron Giffin, Gabriel Giffin, Alyssa Rollo, and Johnny Rollo; his great-granddaughter, Harlie Morasco; his brothers, Dale Darcas of Las Vegas, NV, Donald Darcas of Palmyra, Dennis Darcas of West Point, UT, and Barry Ziegler of Mohnton; his sister, Kay Coles of Myerstown; his stepdaughters, Cassandra Good Walter (Samuel) of Richland and Amy Good Awad (Tarek) of West Lawn; his stepson, Kevin Good of Bethel; his many step-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Myerstown Christian Fellowship, 59 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown.
