Kathleen A. “Kathy” Kosack, 66, of Pine Grove, passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.
 

Born March 27, 1957, in Reading, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Karl Schenck and Elmira Heinly Schenck Sonon.
 

A graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, Wernersville, Class of 1975, she was Pine Grove Township resident for decades and had retired several years ago from a career in retail sales. She also served from 1977-1979 in U.S. Army Reserve’s 441st Personnel Company, at Fort Indiantown Gap.
 

Kathy loved to travel with her husband, Bruce, and they went on many adventures together. She dearly loved her family, as well as her close friends and her constant companion, Jack, her beloved canine. Family and Jack were with her in her final hours.
 

Kathy spent most of her working years at the Cressona Agway, where she capably helped manage the store and enjoyed serving customers.   
 

Kathy is survived by her husband, Bruce; daughter, Stacey Drumheller, and her husband, Joe of Schuylkill Haven; step-daughter Kelly Friend, and her husband, James, of Athens; step-son Scott Kosack and his wife, Heather of Carlisle; grandchildren: Ty and Molly Drumheller, Schuylkill Haven; Cassandra and James Friend, Athens; and Tristan Kosack, Carlisle; and a brother, Edmond Schenck and his wife, Bonnie, of Birdsboro, and a sister, Linda Fick Schenck of Womelsdorf.
 

Preceding her in death were a sister, Ann Bauder, of Ohio; and a brother, David Schenck, of Womelsdorf.
 

For most of her life, Kathy was a blonde, beautiful free spirit. She believed in angels, loved to listen to Rod Stewart, the excitement of a casino and shopping with her close friends Marion and Sharon. Her ideal day was one shared with Bruce, or happily spent with family or friends. She and Bruce were married for 45 years.
 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Noon at the H L Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove with Pastor David Fehr officiating.  There will be a visitation on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the National Cemetery at Fort Indiantown Gap.
