Judith Ann Bretzius Neidlinger, 81, of Lebanon, formerly of Pine Grove, went home to the Lord on Tuesday morning, November 14, 2023 at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center in Lebanon.
Born on August 24, 1942 in Pine Grove, she was the daughter of the late Beatrice Kembel Gahres and Paul Bretzius.
Judy was a 1960 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
She was a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove and then worshipped in various churches in Lebanon upon moving there in 2008.
Judy was kind, friendly and generous with a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was always willing to help someone in need and donated monthly to numerous charities. She loved country music and Merle Haggard was her all-time favorite. She also loved Elvis Presley and saw him in concert in Philadelphia when she was in high school.
Judy loved working in her flower garden at her home in Pine Grove where she grew the most beautiful flowers.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 48 years, Kenneth "Pickle" Neidlinger; one of her twin daughters Sandy Neidlinger; a great granddaughter, Harper Lehman; a sister Linda Barr; a brother, Richard Gahres Jr.; and her beloved schnauzer Cassidy Montana.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan Dubbs of Ephrata, Sandy's twin sister Cindy and husband Dave Zimmerman of Pine Grove; 5 grandchildren, Mandy and husband Kevin Derfler of Robesonia, Derek and wife Diana Dubbs of Allentown, N.J., Cody and wife Jackie Lehman of Gratz, Brian Reichert of Pine Grove and Justin Zimmerman of Pine Grove; 6 great grandchildren, Madison and Avery Derfler, Dominic and Dylan Dubbs, Connor Lehman, and Braden Foraker; a sister Frances and husband John "Chute" Heinbach of Pine Grove; her dearest and best friends, Dorothy Walters Ceppa of Breinigsville and Reverend Allen Helwig of Lebanon; many nieces and nephews.
Per Judith's request, there will be no services. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville with her husband.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 1117 Country Club Rd. Camp Hill, Pa. 17011 in her memory.
