Irene C. Minnich, 72, of Fawn Dr., Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at home.

Born on May 4, 1946 in Rock, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Helen Miller Minnich.

She was a 1964 graduate of Pine Grove High School and was a member of Manbeck's Church, Schuylkill Haven where she enjoyed being the pianist for many years.

Irene was a Secretary at Gold Mills and most recently was a receptionist at StoneRidge, in Myerstown.

She was a member of the Pine Grove Senior Citizens and enjoyed going on the bus trips they offered. Irene had weekly socials with her friends at her home. She volunteered with the Good News Club at the Weekday Church School in Pine Grove.

Irene never had children of her own, but was a wonderful Aunt who adored and was always kind to her nephews. 

Preceding her in death were a sister Fernly Minnich, nephew Drew White, and brother-in-law Jacque White.

Surviving are her sister, Mae White of Pine Grove; nephews, Dean and wife Barbara White, Dennis and wife Patti White, both of Pine Grove; great nephews, Dustin and wife Kari White, Derrick and wife Lizann White, Austin White; great niece, Kelsey and husband Benjamin Peterson.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Norman Dixon officiating. There will be a calling time on Friday, October 19, 2018, from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Manbeck's Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Manbeck's Church, c/o Debra Reiter 159 Spittler Rd. Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 or Child Evangelism Fellowship, 711 Deep Creek Rd., Hegins, Pa. 17938 in her memory.
