Guy W. "Jack" Schaeffer, Sr., 91, of W. Mill St., Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at home.

Born on May 8, 1931 in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Philip J. and Rhea C Trumbore Schaeffer.

He was a 1949 graduate of Pine Grove High School.

Jack had worked for Bethlehem Steel in Lebanon.

He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed gardening.

Preceding him in death were his wife Marian M. Zimmerman Schaeffer; a daughter, Patricia Gilbert; a granddaughter Tracy Schaeffer; two sisters, Gloria Reinoehl and Betty Haldeman; a brother, Phillip Schaeffer; and a niece Carol Cooper.

Surviving are two sons, Guy "Jack" Schaeffer, Jr., John and wife Terry Schaeffer, both of Pine Grove; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley and husband Ray "Abie" Krammes, Gladys and husband Bobby Donofrio, both of Pine Grove; many nieces and nephews.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family with SALM John Ziegler officiating.  Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
