George Robert Koltura, 84, of Canal Dr., Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill East, Pottsville.

Born on February 2, 1938 in New York City, NY, he was a son of the late John and Caroline Kopinetz Koltura.

George was a graduate of Cass Township High School.

He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Pine Grove American Legion Post 3432.

George was a Budget Officer and worked for the Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey and Indiantown Gap Military Reservation in Annville.

Preceding him in death were two sons, Matthew and Joseph Koltura; and two brothers, John Koltura and Michael Lundy.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Patricia Zerbe Koltura; two sons, Mark and wife Michele Koltura of Mt. Laurel, N.J, Christopher and wife Jane Koltura of Mauldin, S.C.; a daughter, Adriene and husband Lou Garbarino of Duryea, PA; 5 grandchildren, Laura Connely, Markus Koltura, April Caldwell, Sarah Courter, and Zachary Garbarino; 7 great grandchildren, Laura, Theodora, Kaiden, Philippa, Cooper, Cameron, and Liam; a sister, Carol Angst of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 9:30 A.M. at Most Blessed Trinity Parish, 113 Cherry St., Tremont, with Fr. George Kochuparambil  officiating. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Wounded Warriors Inc., 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, Pa 17011 in his memory.
