Gary M. Vail, 69, of Canal Dr., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

Born on March 8, 1953 in Baraboo, WI, he was a son of the late John and Betty Swanson Vail.

He was an AMS2 in the Navy having served during the Vietnam War.

Gary was a Supervisor in a Shipyard and also worked in a brick yard and was a welder.

Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Elizabeth Burcaw Vail; three sons, Gary Jr. and wife Jennifer Vail of Wisconsin, Bradley and wife Hope Vail of California, Zachary and wife Korryn Vail of Wisconsin; a step son Russell Teets and fiancé Jennifer Nicks of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren, Violet Vail, Gage Vail, Maya Vail and Barrett Vail.

Per Gary's request, there will be no services.

The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements.
