Ellen Irene Miller, 93, of S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, went to be with God and her husband, Alvin "Fox" on Thursday, November 13, 2025 in the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.

Born on November 12, 1932 in Pine Grove, she was the daughter of the late Richard M. and Ellen K. Zimmerman Doran.

She was a 1952 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.

Ellen worked at the former Fox Knapp Mfg., Pine Grove.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove where she had taught Sunday School. She also had been a girl scout leader and enjoyed being outdoors.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 56 years, Alvin A. Miller; and two brothers, Richard W. and Kenneth E. Doran.

Surviving are a sister, Barbara Doran; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Rev. Marie Meeks officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 12:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
