Effie Mae Zerbe, 91 of Pine Grove, passed away on Monday, April 18, into the arms of her Heavenly Father.  

Born on June 5, 1930, in Wrightsville, York Co., she was a daughter of the late Jasper and Ella Baker Curry.  

Effie had been employed as a Seamstress and was a member of Wesleyan Church in Pine Grove.  Her greatest joys were interacting with her family and her relationship with the Lord.  

Preceding her in death were her husband, Ellwood M. Woody: Zerbe on March 2, 2008; Four Brothers, Shelton, Paul, Lawrence & John; Five Sisters, Alma, Anna, Della, Rebecca & Shirley.

Surviving are four Daughters, Eloise wife of Mike Shapiro of Harrisburg, Gerri wife of Paul Inama, Tina wife of Jeffrey Davis, Lori wife of Randy Blank all of Pine Grove; seven Grandchildren Cory and wife Kristy Sarge, Eric and wife Kaylene Inama, Noah Blank, Benjamin Davis, Dustin Davis, Dakota Davis, and Ethan Davis; Five Great-Grandchildren, Meghan Sarge, Ryan Sarge, Rachel Sarge, Chase Sarge, Kade Inama; and a Brother, Joseph Curry of Cressona.  

Services will be held on Monday, April 25, at 2:30 pm in Hetzel's Church,  261 Hetzel's Church Road, Pine Grove, with Pastor Nathan Lott officiating.   There will be a viewing on   Monday, April 25, from 1:30 until time of service at the Church.  Interment will be in the Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove.  

The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the  Pine Grove Wesleyan Church, 74 Bethel Road, Pine Grove, Pa. 17963, in her memory.
