Edwin W. Minnich, 90, of Swopes Valley Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 at home. 

Born on October 9, 1932 in Rock, he was a son of the late Frank and Beulah Wert Minnich. 

He was an Army Veteran having served in Germany during the Korean Conflict. 

Edwin was a Supervisor at Gold Mills in Pine Grove and then worked at Moen in Pine Grove. 

He was a life member of the Pine Grove VFW Post 3432. 

Edwin would enjoy traveling with his Family to the beach and road trips out west.  His last adventure was the Route 66 road trip to the Grand Canyon National Park.  He cherished every moment with his family and great grandchildren.  He was willing to help anyone he could anyway he can.  Now may he rest in peace with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, Till we meet again, Amen 

Preceding him in death were his wife of 54 years, Barbara Ann Zeth Minnich; two sisters, Marie Herring and Dorothy Snyder; and two brothers, Walter Minnich and Floyd Minnich. 

Surviving are a daughter, Christine and husband David Zimmerman, a son, Richard Minnich, both of Pine Grove; six grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, and Angela Zimmerman, Melissa and husband Levi Moser, Daniel and Bradley Minnich; five great grandchildren, Josiah Zimmerman, Leonidas, Roman, London and Eliza Moser; a sister, Beatrice Minnich of Pine Grove; a brother, Kenneth and wife Vicky Minnich; nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Noon, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove with Rev. Brian Beissel officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until Noon at the Church.  Interment will follow in Jacob's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in his memory to help with the funeral expenses.
