Edward M. "Butch" Sullivan

Edward M. "Butch" Sullivan, 85, of High St., Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in the Lebanon VA Hospital. 

Born on October 30, 1940 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Edward D. and Veronica Chekan Sullivan. 

He was a graduate of Nativity High School. 

Edward was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. 

He worked for the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville for 25 years. 

Edward was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Friedensburg. 

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting beehives. 

Preceding him in death was a sister, Maureen Clocker 

Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Joan Reber Sullivan; three children, Robyn Porter, Heather Sullivan and Treasure Reichert; three step children, Tammy Davis, Ronald Luckenbill and Michelle Shafer; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Shoopack and Lucille Kaczynski; two brothers, Robert and George Sullivan; nieces and nephews. 

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 1:30 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Rev. Susan Ohl officiating. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to VA Medical Center and write Hospice Fund 8183 in memo line, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave. (#10V), Lebanon, PA 17042 in his memory.
