Douglas M. Blain, 80, of Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 in Rosewood Rehab and Health Center, Schuylkill Haven. 

Born on April 10, 1942 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late William S. Sr. and Mary Beil Blain. 

He was a 1961 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School. 

Douglas worked as a Presser for the former Fox Knapp Mfg. in Pine Grove. 

He loved sewing, taking pictures and videoing family gathering. 

Preceding him in death were three brothers, Leroy Lindsey, William S. Blain, Jr., and Richard J. Blain, Sr.; three sisters, Ellen McMahon, Beverly Robertson, and Rosella Reinbold. 

Surviving are a sister, Elizabeth Blanton of Pine Grove, a brother, Donald Lindsey of Gardners, Pa; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. 

Per his request, there will be no services for Douglas. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Dr., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.
