David Edward Wolfgang, Sr., 65, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in North Carolina.

Born on January 27, 1959 in Pottsville, he was the son of Shirley E. (Kimmel) Wolfgang and the late Kenneth M. Wolfgang.

He was a 1976 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School and the Vo-tech program.

David had a big personality and was happiest being outdoors.  He loved hunting, bike riding and always building something, including his home in North Carolina.

He was the proud owner and founder of DEW Electric, which served businesses and residents of Schuylkill County and surrounding areas.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife Adele (White) Wolfgang; a son David Edward Wolfgang, Jr.; a daughter Samantha and husband Kodi Koperna; a brother Terry and wife Susan Williams; a sister Teena and husband Joel Haupt; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his hometown of Pine Grove in the spring at the convenience of the family.
