Darlene J. Morgan
March 15, 2022
On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, with her family gathered together around her, Darlene J. Morgan, 68, of Moyer's Station Rd., Schuylkill Haven, met Jesus face to face.
Born on November 7, 1953, she was born on a snowy day in her family home in Rock. She was the daughter of the late Harvey J. Sr. and Hilda M. Schnoke Warner.
Darlene was a 1971 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
Darlene retired in 2019 after working as a Customer Service Representative for Swiss Premium in Lebanon for 17 years. She had formerly worked for 28 years at Penn Dye in Pine Grove.
She served as an active member of the Pine Grove Wesleyan Church. Weekly you would find her helping out in whatever capacity needed at the church. Her heart was to serve and she did it well.
Darlene was the matriarch of the family. She spent much time planning family gatherings and reunions. Often her home was full of family members and friends. Darlene and Woody enjoyed weekly outings and family walks together. She loved cooking and baking; we never went hungry when mom was around. She enjoyed making homemade candy. Every Easter and Christmas the family was sure to have a fresh supply of it. She was always willing to help others in a time of need.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Harvey J. Warner, Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Elwood "Woody" Morgan; a daughter, Marcy and husband Scott Seaman of Lebanon; a son, Troy and wife Angela Morgan of Missouri. She has eight grandchildren, Austin and Alivia Seaman and Makenna, Caidence, Jake, Ian, Jase and Will Morgan; two sisters, Joan and husband Mirl Cooper of Schuylkill Haven, Carol Ann Gerber of Lebanon; a brother, Gregory Warner of Maryland; many nieces and nephews; and her sweet pup, Bella.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. at the Pine Grove Wesleyan Church, 74 Bethel Rd., Pine Grove, with Pastors Earl and Kitty Hertzog officiating. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 3:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Wesleyan Church, 74 Bethel Rd. Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.
The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements and you may send condolences online at www.hlsnyderfuneralhome.com
