Dale L. Koppenhaver, 79, of Tremont Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in the Hershey Medical Center. 

Born on November 21, 1943 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Kenneth R. and June L. Strausser Koppenhaver. 

Dale was a 1961 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School. He was a member of St. Peter's UCC, Pine Grove and was on church consistory. 

He was a Clerk and Supervisor at Gold Mills, Pine Grove. 

Dale loved spending time with his family, going out to eat, attending school sporting events, playing bingo, and watching the NY Jets and LA Dodgers. 

Surviving are his wife of almost 60 years, Beverly Bettinger Koppenhaver; two daughters, Brenda and husband Jamie Hoffa of Wernersville, Becky and husband Scott Schneck of Pine Grove; two sons, Brad Koppenhaver and Brian Koppenhaver, both of Pine Grove; six grandchildren, Corbin, Aidan, Pierce and Isabella Brosious, AJ and Lauren Koppenhaver; a sister, Trudy and husband George Shiffer of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor David Fehr officiating. There will be a viewing on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Peter's UCC, 277 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in his memory.
