Dale E. Brown, 79, of Sweet Arrow Lake Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.

Born on March 22, 1946 in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Robert and Isabel Fenstermacher Brown.

Dale was a 1965 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School. 

He was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.

Dale was a self employed carpenter since the 1970's and was an amazing craftsman. 

He loved camping, traveling, being outdoors, helping others, playing cards, and was an avid Phillies fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.  He was a great friend and was always willing to help out anyone he met.  He was also involved in Boy Scouts and was an Assistant Leader.

He was a member of Salem Hetzel's UCC, Pine Grove.

Preceding him in death was a sister, Josephine "Toots" Baker and a brother, Dean Lee Brown.

Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Jane Lehr Brown; a daughter, Shelly and husband Kris Gamble of Myerstown; four grandchildren, Katie Zimmerman and husband Anthony Gambone, Austin and wife Jenna Brown, Kasey and husband Andrew LaFaver, Chloe Gamble; four great grandchildren, Brayden, Carter and Dakota LaFaver, Ryland Brown; a brother Robert T. Jr. and wife Diane Brown of Pine Grove; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Bob Kensinger officiating.  There will be a visitation on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home.  Interment will be held at a later date in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to a veterans organization or charity of your choice in his memory.
