Arletta L. Brown, 94, of Oak Grove Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.

Born on March 24, 1928 in Pine Grove Twp.,  she was a daughter of the late George W. and Jennie Mease Lehman.

She was a 1945 graduate of Pine Grove High School.  

Arletta had worked at Miller's Store at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation.

She was a member of Salem Hetzel's UCC in Pine Grove, the former Mary E. Moore Chapter No. 372 OES and Amaranth Victory Ct. #149.

Arletta loved her family and spending time with them.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 52 years, Donald E. Brown, Sr.; three sisters, Irene Thomas, Marie Wolfe, and Rachel Salen; two brothers, Harold Lehman and Alvin Umbenhauer; and a daughter-in-law Babette Susan Brown.

Surviving are two sons, Donald E. Brown, Jr. of Pine Grove, Rodger and wife Linda Brown of Manheim; four grandchildren, Doran Brown, Daryl and wife Michelle Brown, Donald Brown, III,  Rachel and husband Kevin Reichert; three great grandchildren, Joshua, Mallory and Avery Brown.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Outwood Lutheran Church, 934 Oak Grove Rd., Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating.  There will be a viewing on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at the Church. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care, 1001 James Dr. Suite B34, Leesport, Pa. 19533 or the charity of your choice in her memory. 

The family does ask to dress casually for the service.
