Alice J. Kimmel, 91, of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in Providence Place, Pine Grove.

Born on June 10, 1932 in Roedersville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Beulah Hubler Reichert.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.

Alice was a dietary aide and worked for Rest Haven in Schuylkill Haven.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 53 years, Lester I. Kimmel; a son, Melvin C. Reichert, Sr.; a,daughter, Tonya T. Novack; four brothers, Garfield G., Charles, Morris, and John Reichert; three sisters, Orzaba Wolfe, Irene Kimmel, and Sevilla Doll Stine.

Surviving are two sons, Kim and wife Andrea Kimmel of Pine Grove, Lanny and wife Patti Kimmel of Schuylkill Haven; 8 grandchildren, Shawn Kimmel, Amie Kimmel, Torie Fisher, Kyle Novack, Jesse Kimmel, Cody Kimmel, Melvin Reichert, Jr., and Tracy Staller; 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Emily Hoover of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating. There will be a viewing on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church General Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.
