Roy L. Hummel, 69, of Pleasant Valley Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at home.
Born on February 2, 1949 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Carl and Delphine Stine Hummel.
He was a graduate of Pine Grove High School.
Roy was a Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam Era and his last duty assignment was USS Sacramento. He received the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation and National Defense Service Medal.
Surviving are a brother, Blair Hummel; two sisters, Carla Mauser and Gail Madenford; a step brother, Dennis Stine.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA
