Reynold D. Lengel, 72,  of the Veteran's Hospital in Spring City, formerly of Pine Grove,  passed away Saturday, December 1, in the Phoenixville Hospital.    
Born on March 26, 1946,  in Washington Twp.,  he was a son of  the late Paul and Ada M. Rhein Lengel .
Reynold attended the Pine Grove High School and received his GED while in the Army.  He was  a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. 
He had been a member of the Pine Grove Fish & Game, Ten Pin Club in Pine Grove and a life member of the Pine GroveVFW.    Reynold  served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era with the 264th Trans Co VH.  He received the National Defense Service Medal, the Sharpshoter M-14 Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.
A Brother, Larry Lengel, preceded him in death.
Surviving are two Sisters, Irene Stump of Allentown, Lucille Kavanaugh of  Glen Mills; a Brother, Quentin and wife Betty Lengel of West Grove;  Nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at the H. L. Snyder Funeral  Home, Inc., Saturday,  December 8, 2018 at 11:00 am with  SALM John Ziegler officiating. There will be a calling time on Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the Funeral Home.     Interment will  be in  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at a later date. 
The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church 312 S. Tulpehocken St. Pine Grove, PA 17963, in his memory.
