The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home had its beginning when Henry L. Snyder was licensed in 1915 after completing the embalming course at the former Eckels College of Embalming in Philadelphia.  He was the youngest licensed Funeral Director in Pennsylvania at that time.  Henry was an integral part of the Funeral Home until his death in 1967.  His son, Clark E. Snyder was licensed in 1941 and was involved with the Funeral Home until his death in 2000.  Now operating the Funeral Home are Henry's granddaughter Dianne M. Snyder Zimmerman, licensed in 1973 and his great granddaughter, Lisa A. Harner, licensed in 1998.  The Funeral Home is still operating under the principles of honesty, dedication and commitment established by Henry L. Snyder, 100 years ago.

You are welcome to call us at any time of the day, any day of the week, for immediate assistance.  Or, visit our funeral home in person at your convenience.  We also provide a wealth of information here on our web site so you can learn more from the privacy of your own home.
